It has rained a lot over the past 2 weeks, which has been nice for the plants. Everything is growing very fast and I have been fortunate to have harvested a lot of strawberries, raspberries, and peas from the garden already.
My discovery about Sage:
I found that below my sage plant nothing grew. This seemed odd to me and I had blamed it on the budget seeds that I had bought. However, I read in my companion planting book that Sage releases a volatile compound that drifts to earth and stops the seedling growth of many species. Hence, I moved to sage and accept that I will need to try to grow the Camomile again.
Below are a few photos of the garden as it is on July 2nd. Enjoy!
